Bravado was born organically. During the summer of 2018, longtime friends Jennifer Rossi and Pamela Caruso were both at a crossroads in their own respective careers. They shared an innate passion for fashion, and began discussing different avenues to best utilize that passion. They decided to forge their keen eye for style with the hopes of someday opening their own boutique in Philadelphia. Approximately one week later, they already had their first styling orders without a brick and mortar storefront—it was all thanks to word of mouth and networking. They had successfully begun servicing several clients who were simply too busy to spend time shopping for themselves. The pivotal moment came one evening, when they arrived at a client’s office at 9:00PM to hand deliver a full wardrobe of clothes the night before the client was to depart for vacation. The client did not have an opportunity to pack for herself—in fact, she did not even know what time her flight was the next morning. Between running an extremely successful business and having an unexpected emergency the evening prior, the client was completely consumed. She was panicked, and even contemplated cancelling the trip until the team from Bravado arrived with an assortment of clothing, beach cover-ups, sandals, accessories, jewelry and anything else she might need. The entire transaction took approximately 20 minutes right in her office boardroom. By 9:30PM, Bravado left her packed and on her way to an incredible vacation. Upon leaving that meeting, Rossi and Caruso knew that they were onto something special. Thoughts of a brick and mortar evaporated just as quickly as they had imagined it as the ladies realized that, without a storefront, they would be Philadelphia’s first concierge styling service. From that day forward, the ladies never turned back. Rossi and Caruso also pride themselves on working within any budget, from local celebrities to the working mom, and everyone in between. Personal styling does not discriminate. They believe that fabulous fashion can be easily and conveniently accomplished when you put your trust in their team.
